Ink on paper, pine frame, original glass. Three-quarter portrait of S. John Lewis Ligonier, torso turned slightly to right, wearing three-quarter length coat with buttons, belt at waist, insignia on chest and curled wig tied back, right hand on hip, left hand extended and holding hat.
