Description

Wrapper - light/medium blue silk taffeta; robe a la francaise style with box pleats at back (from shoulders); cream lace collar; overdress/jacket effect; blue silk covered buttons center front; epaulets with piping and fringe; bow at back of neck with streamers and fringe. Matching belt (B) with bow and piping; patch pockets with matching buttons and piping; taffeta bands and same piping at cuffs; sleeves and bodice lined with white silk; hem has same bands and piping (as at shoulders, cuffs, etc.); hem stiffened with canvas; train.
