A modern reproduction of the "Moulton" flag carried into battle at the Siege of Louisbourg in 1745. This version is machine-sewn, with an applique painted image of a tree with rounded foliage at the center, pierced vertically by a sword (hilt pointing to the ground, tip to the sky) with a wavy blade similar to a kris. Beneath the tree, on a ribbon banner, is the phrase "Bello Pax Quaeritur." Flanking the tree, above the blade tip, are streaks of blue and white clouds.
