Description

Pair of slippers, Kilim tapestry woven cream linen with small blue geometric shapes. Yellow border with stylized red flower with cream, black, and green center. Bound with pale red/pink silk. Trimmed with a large bow of pale yellow dotted and striped silk. Rounded square toe with square throat. Split and laced 4-1/8" vamp with red laces. Center back seam. Sole has a narrow waist and spring heel. White leather and linen lining.

Label

Walk Right In 11/98-3/99 These slippers belonged to Eusebia Sabins Child of Boston. She had them widened at some point and added large bows to hide the split at the top.
