Blue and white pinstriped silk; calash style with five cane hoops; padded with cotton batting; double piped self-fabric ruffle at brim; two blue silk bows (with shell motif) at top; same blue silk ribbon ties at neck; piped bow at center back; ruffle around neck ruffle; brim lined with white silk; interior lined with (discolored) cotton.
