A=Dress; B=Capelet. Block printed cotton in light brown & cream geometric patterned ground w/ picotage; shapes outlined w/ aubergine; with stylized flowers & leaves in bright green & brown with a yellow center. A=Dress - broad neckline; princess seam; bodice pointed at front only; long sleeves with a double self ruffle (above elbow) & fitted below elbow to wrist. Self-piping around neckline, waist, center front, armscye & back; bodice lined with brown cotton; skirt has cotton waistband printed with blue & pink flowers & stitched onto bodice. Skirt has pleats around front with cartridge pleats at center back between shoulders; hem lined with cotton. Originally hook & eye closure at center back & wrists (but they are missing). B=Capelet - matching fabric; rectangular in shape; self-ruffle & piping. Underarms have been reinforced.
