Rectangular silk embroidery, worked on silk, depicts a shepherdess sitting on the bank of a small pond with her two sheep. The head and face, small city in the background and part of the pond are painted in watercolor but the rest is worked in silk satin stitches on a silk ground. Framed and in a reverse painted glass mat.
