Description

Seven tapering spindles mortised through secondary rail; three alternating spindles dowelled up through this rail to crest rail; spindles and four splayed legs with slight bamboo turnings; plank saddle seat; incised line decoration on seat perameter and spindles; front underside of seat highly champhered; two stretchers at front and back, set one above and one level to the single side stretchers; painted red (including bottom); originally painted black.
