Description

Cream cashmere; edges of front and hem lined with strips of Indian embroidered multicolored wool; hook and eye closure at front; also frog consisting of multicolored silk thread braided medallion on either side with mulitcolored silk thread twisted cord loop and small brown and multicolored silk thread-covered passementerie tassels and beads hanging down from each medallion. Embroidery in frog motif next to strips of Indian wool in gold and orange thread; more embroidery and wool at simulated pocket on either side; thick multicolored silk thread fringe at collar, sleeves and hem. Dolman sleeves; back has appliqued triangular piece of Indian embroidered wool; hem is slightly scalloped; lining is green and red changeable silk taffeta.
