Description

Three-piece dress, bodice (a); skirt (b); bow (c). Black silk taffeta with pink trim. Bodice (a) has pink bows at cuff; ruching and double ruff at cuff; black and white lace along center front, cuffs and neckline. Peplum trimmed with black lace; inner waistband; Ten black covered buttons; boned and lined with tan cotton twill. Skirt (b) has bands of ruching and pleating edged with pink and several ruffles; right side has tucked and folded panel tacked in place; lined with pink and trimmed with black lace. Cartridge pleats at back; hook and eye closure at waist; left side has loose sash; hem has brown cotton lining with triple crinoline ruffle; bound with green wool tape. Bow (c) black silk trimmed with pin.
