Rectangular case enclosing four drawers; bottom two full length with central oval brass escutcheon and two oval brass pulls with molded leafy edges. Upper drawers smaller, side by side, with single central oval brass pulls. Surface painted black with raised chinoiserie decoration. Slant top opens revealing eight pigeon holes with four drawers beneath. Inlaid red leather writing surface. Sliding door on interior desk top reveals interior compartment.
