Description

Earthenware children's mug. Black transfer printed images. On one side, the scene "Playing at Horses," with one child holding reins attached to two other children. A formal paneled gate and masonry wall are behind them at left, and a Greek-pedimented building is the distance at right. On the other side, a boy stands in front of a tall flowering plant, "The Foxglove."
