Description

Earthenware children's mug. Cylindrical with loop handle and leaf terminals. Brown transfer printed "Franklin's Maxims" with inscriptions, two scenes, and patterned triangles. On one side, the scene is of two men on a sea shore kneeling over a bundle; on the other side, a laborer carries a bundle up a hill, followed by a gentlemen in hat and jacket.
