Description

Earthenware children's mug. Inscription with corresponding transfer-printed image. A woman in flowing dress holidng a baby in her arms. The background decoration and furniture represent Neo-Classicism and more particularly, a Grecian influence. Overpainting in greens and pinks. Hand-painted pink line around exterior lip of mug and accents the handle.
