Earthenware children's mug. Tan glaze with brown transfer printed scenes. On one side, a hand cupped beside a fly on a table, with the caption "Fly not yet." On the other side, an elderly woman (?) whose bonnet and wig have been blown off in a strong wind, with the caption "Blow gentle gales." The woman holds onto an iron fence, while two faces watch from a window.
