Earthenware mug with attached frog inside. Transfer-printed designs of "The Sailor's Return" on one side, and the flags of Britain and France on the other with a bird, a lion, and the motto "May they ever be united" above "Crimea." Over-painted by hand in green, yellow, red, blue, pink, and peach. Hand-painted bands of dark pink lustre around base and rim, with stripe down handle.
