Description

Footed creamware bowl with hand-painted black band bordering interior rim and black transfer-printed scenes on interior and exterior. The interior scene is of a man and two women, one possibly a servant, at a table in a garden. The seated couple enjoys refreshments, a large coffee or tea urn is on a stand next to the table. The table is beside a stream with two ducks swimming in it. A garden gate is nearby. The bowl's exterior scenes are of a pair of partridges under tree.
