FAN (A): Pierced and carved ivory sticks and guards, inlaid with silver; white paper leaf has on one side three lithograph medallions with eighteenth century figures inset surrounded by elaborate pattern in silver and red; reverse is all printed in silver with figures, roses and scrolls; mother of pearl washer. BOX (B): Black lacquered wood, hinged; push button latch; floral spray painted on lid; lined with pale blue silk.
