Black silk; quilted with four casings and four cotton drawstrings, forming four puffed bands lined withs wool batting; double, piped ruffle at brim; center back has round padded panel; padded neck ruffle; six black silk bows along top and at back; black moire' silk ribbon ties at neck; lined with brown glazed cotton.
