Brown and tan plaid silk taffeta; bell-shaped elbow length sleeves, each with three flounces edged in black lace and lined with cream silk ruched at edges. Lace at collar as well. Closure down center front with hooks and eyes, and eight decorative covered buttons. Bodice is lined with brown cotton; skirt is lined with glazed brown cotton; brown satin tape at hem. One pocket on right side; handstitched.
