Wedding dress made from cream-colored taffeta; basque style bodice; square neckline trimmed with self-fabric ruching with fringed edges, and 2 ruffles of scalloped edged dotted net (one outside, one inside); long sleeves, flare at opening with same ruching as at neckline, and pleated and fringed cuff with same lace ruffle as neck; 19 cream silk covered buttons with star motif, at center front; inverted box pleats at back for bustle; not cotton tape on interior for gathering and holding fabric in position; bodice is boned; long train, hem at front has same pleated and fringed band as cuffs, with bows, and pleated dust ruffle; hem of train has box pleats, self-piping and crinoline dust ruffle; fully lined with linen.
