A=Bodice; B=Skirt; C=Sash. This three piece suite is constructed of black moiré. Bodice (A) has elbow length sleeves trimmed with black lace and a black satin bow. The bodice ends in a sharp point at center front and back. Bodice is boned and lined with glazed cotton. Piping at shoulders and neckline. Ten self-covered buttons on bodice; 1 missing. Skirt (B) hook and eye closure at left side; pleats at front; fullness at back. Pocket at right side. The skirt shows a train at back. The hem is lined with black crinoline and edged with green wool binding. Sash (C) is trimmed with black satin ribbon & black lace at points; sash is very wide.
