Description

Oval platter with black transfer-printed pattern "European Scenery." Pattern has border of lace draping over tie-backs and naturalistic morning glories on vine. Platter center is a pastoral scene of a fast moving stagecoach with begging children trailing behind. An old begger sits nearby under a tree with his hat held out. In the distance, is a village.
