Description

This combination verse and alphabet sampler was worked on a linen ground in silk thread, depicting a red-roofed house flanked by leafy trees, rose bushes and a pair of black and white dogs. The entire scene is set beneath a verse and alphabet, bordered on three sides by a floral vine. One alphabet missing "J", "V"; Numbers: 1-10. Cross stitch, eyelet hole, satin stitch
