Women's dress made from steel blue-colored silk taffeta. Center front, back cuffs and hem of skirt trimmed with wide band of ruching of dress fabric. Bows on cuffs. Bodice has bustled peplum. Boned and lined with brown cotton twill. Coin pocket on left front. 12 buttonholes and 11 purple buttons and hook and eye closure. Skirt has draped overshirt on right side. Left side has pocket and diagonal pleating. Cartridge pleats at back. Bustle extention. Hook and eye closure at waist. Ties for bustle. Lined with tan glazed chintz. Ruffle at hem lined with black crinoline. Underlining of brown wool at hem.
