Description

Constructed from marbelized paper sides and a painted velvet lid, this octagonal box once held the watch chain 1965.197C. The top and bottom of the box are crimped with embossed gold-colored metal strips. The lid is faded, green/brown velvet with a stenciled design of two rose blossoms surrounded by leaves. The sides are made of thick, gold-tinted paper marbelized in shades of red and green.
