Description

Small oval pasteboard bandbox (A) and lid (B) covered with two layers of wallpaper. Bottom layer is visible at edge of rim and is light blue. Top layer has a geometric stripe patterns with stripes of diamond shapes alternating with stripes of random dots and stripes of twig-like lines and dots. Block printed in blue on beige ground. Interior of box has blue rag paper lining.
A printed text fragment is pasted to interior of lid. See "Inscription" for additional details.
