Description

Printed gauze with cream windowpane (checked) ground; printed with geometric and floral motifs in blues, brown, pink and green; Dress A - high, piped neckline, darts and princess seam; piping at armscye; bell shaped sleeves ahve tuck near shoulder; epaulets and cuffs trimmed with green and beige silk fringe, and border printed with chevrons and flowers in same colors as above; piping and cartridge pleats all around waist; 2 self rosettes at center front; hook and eye closure at center front; skirt has 3 flounces printed with wider border similar to border at sleeves; piping around each flounce; hook and eye closure is covered with silk covered button placket. Capelet B: Matching capelet has high piped neckline; long lapet ends at front; pointed center back, are trimmed with same fringe and printed border (as used on dress); hook and eye closure; lined with white (cotton) cambric.
