BOX (Bottom A, Lid B): Chinese box, blue silk and natural silk over cardboard(?); blue satin lining is padded.

Handwritten on box bottom: ""G. Larsson[?] / 20/-"" with Chinese character. [CAP's note on catalogue sheet says that 20/- = 20 pounds, British. GMcM says that is probably wrong: 20/- written in that way meant 20 shillings, i.e. one pound. 20 shillings was a considerable sum at that time--cannot imagine a fan costing 20 pounds.]
