Description

In this silk mourning picture a woman is bent over an elevated tomb. Her arms and head are painted. A large weeping willow spreads its leaves over the tomb, cypress trees surround the scene. Stitches used in this work include: satin stitch, long and short satin stitch, rice stitch, French knot, split stitch, filling stitch.
