Description

Earthenware basin with blue transfer-print pattern depicting three figures viewing a classical ruin beside a waterway. One of the figures sits on a fallen column, horned goats graze in the near distance. The scene is printed in the bottom of the basin bowl and repeats, in a smaller size, around the outside of the bowl. The interior rim is printed with floral sprays over a patterned ground.
