Large stoneware jug with oval body rising from narrow base. Loop handle. Light tan to gray glazed exterior with the following stamped under mouth: "SOLD BY JOSHUA DURGIN & CO, DRUGGISTS, NO 64 MIDDLE STREET, PORTLAND, 3." Stamped letters and number are tinted with blue glaze.
