Three-piece dress, bodice (a), skirt (b), and bow (c). Chartreuse corded silk with pale pink and chartreuse lampas. Bodice (a) broad drawstring neckline with chartreuse piping; exaggerated puffed sleeves of pink and green lampas; lampas woven with abstract swirls and small flowers (recalls bizarre silks of 18th century.) Same lampas inserted at front and at pleated panel; boned; sharply pointed wasp waist (front and back); lace closure at center back; lined with chartreuse taffeta; wool dress shields. Skirt (b) matching; side panels of same lampas; train; chartreuse taffeta dust ruffle; taffeta lining. Fullness held in back with elastic bands attached to lining; cartridge pleats at center back; hook and eye closure. Bow (c) made of the same pale pink and green lampas fabric.
