Oval bandbox and lid. Box (A) is covered in roller printed paper featuring gray and white scrollwork motifs on beige ground. Lid (B) is covered with roller printed paper with pink and green roses and lilacs on gray ground with scrollwork motifs. Lid paper is applied over hand stitching on part of rim to repair lid. Lid paper may be second layer over an earlier paper. Bottom rim of bandbox is reinforced with same paper as on lid. Interior of bandbox and lid are lined with a variety of scrap papers. Inside of lid is also lined with three blue and white lithographic prints, one of which is titled "John Clemens / Malaga."
