Description

This flax wheel is composed of oak and maple, with turned legs, spokes and finials, with a riven oak bench and wheel rim. The end of the bench is stamped with a maker's mark (see Inscriptions). The wheel is not complete; it is missing a treadle and is dis-assembled.
