Description

Earthenware plate with scalloped edge and mulberry transfer-print pattern "Japan Flowers." Pattern depicts angular vase with stylized peonies, lilies and other flowers. In the near distance is a second vase, fence and palm tree. Water and Asian-style buildings in the distance. Border pattern of shells, flowers and scrolls framing vignette of pagoda-shaped gazebo.
