Description

Hand-painted, porcelain teapot (a) with lid (b). Drum-shaped body with forked handle and berry knop. Painted border around pot rim and lid of wavy pink line bisected by thin black bank. Berry knop retains traces of gold and has orange leaves. Handle has orange painted decoration on spine and on leaf terminals and on inside of spout edge. Thin orange band with four "starbursts" about base. Two pink/green rosebuds on teapot's flanking sides.
