It has a double headboard with a molded cornice over a recessed frieze edged in rope molding. There is also three recessed panels with vertical "grooves" enclosed by molded edge stiles and vertically grooved end posts with vine carved corner blocks. The lower footboard conforms to the headboard and has molded and grooved rectangular feet and a molded baseboard. The siderails are molded at the base and have shaped brackets at the ends. There are also hidden compartments.
