Description

Turned front legs, square front stretcher with centered diamond, five turned stretcher, serpentine front seat rail, original rush seat in all but one chair, square canted rear legs from back stiles; crest rail has shaped center table with painted trophy, centered vertical splat features cutout quiver, bow and two arrows tied by bow-knot, flanked by two turned splats, on arm chairs turned stumps project above front legs to support curved arms; all chairs were originally painted red; presently four side chairs and two arm chairs are painted white, and three side chairs are painted red, all with gilt decoration; music themes painted on crest rail. The side chairs vary slightly in the height and angle of the backs.
