Description

A square navy blue leather case, with initials on the top in gilt within a square gold meander line reserve. It is lined in a faded blue moire and fitted with a hinged leather flap holding a circular clock with brass bezel (rim) white face with brass Arabic numerals and enameled arms. The face and back are marked with inscriptions.

Inscription

Embossed on the case top is: A.W.L. Printed on the clock face is: Shreve, Crump & Low Co./8 Days/Swiss. Engraved on the back of the clock is: From/The Junior League/July 17, 1942.
