Of small rectangular form with a leather strap hinged lid and handle. The entire surface is covered with a brown painted canvas, embellished at the edges with leather-like black strapping held with brass tacks. It has a painted iron lock and hasp. The lid has four brass studded tin patches at the edges. The interior is lined with blue and white printed paper patterned with a stripe of meandering floral vine on a dotted ground alternating with a stripe of "wormed" design.
