Description

Board fragment with three pieces of attached wallpaper from 1 Carlton Street, Salem, MA. Side one: Wallpaper [a) features ovals in orange and brown (two shades) on ivory ground. Side two:
Wallpaper [b] has brown wide bar diaper pattern on ivory ground (selvage edge has number 184). Wallpaper [c] is a Shakespeare print by Currier and Ives, black with yellow, blue, and pink chalked details (selvage edge has number 663). Both papers on side two were apparently applied with selvedge edges showing.
