Two part cylindrical ice bucket or cooler. Long, cylindrical cover (A) fits over the shorter bodied bucket base (B). Interior of both cover and base is pewter or lead, lined with a soft woody material (bamboo or cork?), a layer of paper and, lastly, an exterior layer of red fabric. The cover has a small metal ring-pull handle. Accession book notes an interior glass bottle or liner "not original" to the cooler came with it.
