Portrait of seated woman with hands folded in lap; body turned three-quarters with head facing front; dark curly hair, parted in middle; wears off-the-shoulder dress, gold with lace cape-like collar; red shawl; entwined behind waist held by forearms; background brown tones. Molded gilt frame has scrolled gesso lip with elaborately scrolled corners.
