Description

Original cornice to bed in northwest chamber; relates to window cornices 1971.2039. .2a) End cornice member: flat board with serpentine shaped top and straight bottom edge; frame member behind with glue blocks; sawed off ends to abutt conforming side cornice members; was stained dark brown (to be covered with fabric). .2b) Identical to above, but with tongue-notched ends. .2c) Original side member; identical form but longer. .2d) Reproduction side member made by Roland B. Hammond of Andover, Mass. ca. 1978.
