A=Bodice; B=Skirt. Blue and white satin vertical pinstripe; blue taffeta. A=Bodice - inserted "v" neckline of cream wool crepe with ruffle and shirred down center front; backed with cream satin; long sleeves with cream satin turned back cuffs with cream crepe ruffle. Neckline, center front and cuffs trimmed with cream looped passementerie wrapped with silver metallic thread; boned; pointed at front with pointed and weighted peplum at back. Beneath wool crepe insert is a black taffeta "vest" with twenty taffeta covered buttons; lined with black taffeta. B=Skirt - blue and white pinstripe panel draped from waist to right side with small square panel at right hip at waistband; another panel at left side and at back (back panel has pouf). These panels are draped over cream satin skirt with vertical bands of passementerie (same as bodice); scalloped hem at back. Dust ruffle with buckram; lined with cream taffeta; pocket on right side; five casings at back (for bustle effect); hook and eye at waist.
