Lamp (A) with transparent white glass base which meets with a brass connection to a pressed clear glass globe for holding oil. Atop this is a brass top which holdes the rope wick as well as clasps to hold the upper globe bulb (B). The globe (B) has etched eagles around the widest point, each with a ribbon in its mouth, banner over the chest, and leaves clasped in each talon.
