FAN (A): Long, narrow dark tortoise shell sticks and guards, brise' type, heavily carved with birds, flowers and Oriental motifs, and threaded with brown ribbon; mother of pearl washers. BOX (B): Two pieces, cardboard, covered in glossy ivory paper.
