Description

A=Overdress; B=Underslip. Dark blue background w/ red, white & yellow floral sprays. A=Overdress - "v" neckline; 3/4 length sleeves w/ darts & pleats at inner elbow; shirred & piped at shoulder front to arm. Smocking at right & left front waist; attached belt of same fabric w/ vinyl backing; vertical tucks all around skirt from hip to hem. Blue rayon tape hem; corsage of red, blue, yellow & white cotton & paper flowers attached to point at neckline; blue rayon tape along inside shoulder seams. Left side metal zipper closure from underarm to hip. B=Underslip - dark blue; "v" neckline front & back; thin pink buckram straps; large pleat at right hip for ease & movement; left side zipper.

1. Printed inside belt ""24 1/2 2C"" in gold. 2. Stamped on zipper of dress ""Talon"" - appears 3 times, once on zipper head & again on front & back of zipper pull. 3. Woven label on inside back neckline; cream satin w/ woven blue letters ""Arnold Constable/ Fifth Avenue, New York"". 4. Stamped on slip zipper ""Conmar USA"" - appears twice, on front & back of zipper pull.
