Description

Square-back side chair; mahogany wood; chalk inscription on the rear seat rail marked "Fisk" could refer to either William or Samuel Fiske of eastern Massachusetts. Rests on fluted Marlborough front legs and rear legs that flare outward at base; H-shaped stretchers.
